Man the final lastame Thursday 😢 😢 can’t believe we are really at the end here.

Very sweet that Pride made Kemet and Sefec the official royal carriers. Very well deserved after everything they’ve been through.

This mf Val was really getting into the Pride feet licking 😂 that wasn’t just a sign of respect lmao he so real for that.

“Arthur is the perfect knight I’m delighted to have him next to me” omg pride be careful you’re gonna make my boy Arthur faint. I’m sure that one comment right there made all the training Arthur went through worth it.

Entire first half of the episode had me dying man. Between Val trying to rile up Arthur and Stale, to their duel to Val grabbing Pride’s hand, the fan-service and banter were great. Even a blushing Val! After the stressful last few episodes, it’s great to just see everyone getting praised and having fun.

Working together Arthur and Stale were able to take down Gilbert. They always work better together. A perfect duo.

“I’m genuinely happy we met. I’m glad you two are by my side�� 😭 😭 I need a second season. I have all the books and will start reading ASAP, but I want more of the anime as well. Such a great character story and one of my fave female MCs.

The “real” story only really got going at the end. I was surprised they didn’t bring up the “order” who were behind the cave incident. But a great finale nonetheless, teared up during that last montage. I’ll miss this show so much.

Being able to amplify magical abilities is a really cool introduction to the series and makes Kermet really important to the story. The irony of someone that powerful being dumped in a literal trash heap and abandoned. A literal diamond in the rough. Imagine how powerful Gil, Arthur or Stale’s abilities could be with his touch. Crazy stuff. That scene of them earth bending out of the cave was really cool lol.

Daily Yoshitsugu villain appearance. Dude has been a villain in like 4 shows this week alone lol. I was hoping we’d get more info on “the order” as the episode title hints, but other than their cloaking ability and the voiceless other dude we didn’t get much. This was more of a Val and the kids backstory than anything.

Their backstory was as sad as you’d expect. Not even having names :/. Nice seeing how close they grew to Val over those 3 months, but as I was watching I couldn’t help but ask “is nobody gonna buy these kids some clothes?” Val had them with him for a while and started giving them some food but damn get these babies some new clothes man lol.

Ironic that Pride’s order is kind of the reason they got taken in the first place. If Val could’ve fought back things may have gone different, but then again it all worked out in the end because they saved more kids and Pride still jumped in after Val to save him. Which was really heroic btw. She’s never content just passively watching things play out, always wants to do her duty and protect even the least of her subjects and I love that.

One more episode 😩 can’t wait to see how they wrap it up. Then it’s onto the LNs. Would love a second season especially since the story is only really now starting

DAMN insane episode. One of my faves by far.

Brilliant plan to infiltrate the slave camp by using Gil’s age down ability. Not like anyone would recognise Pride as she was a couple years ago.. right? 😂

Sefec may have had harsh words to say about Val at the start, but she and Kermet clearly really care about him and believed he’d come for them. All of them are tsunderes 😂

I loved Stale and Powell’s interaction. Really nice full circle moment with Stale saving someone else the same way that Pride saved him. The impact that Pride has on people and the culture of the kingdom is my fave part of this series.

Pride whipping out the sword and going full badass was cool too. Was not expecting her to help out that directly. She’s not just a pretty face. If push comes to shove she will get her hands dirty and I love it. My queen fr.

Things quickly went south with the rescue operation so it’s a good thing the knights were there to help clean things up. But it looks like there’s way more to this simple operation than meets the eye. And based on next week’s preview I think we’re finally going to meet some bigger overarching antagonists. Looking forward to that

Lastame Thursday! Another really good episode.

Arthur’s ability is actually really OP. There’s a massive difference between being able to heal plants and being able to heal anything lol. Very convenient for the plot, but hey, I’ll take it. I also like how this is the first decision Pride has made without thinking about how it’ll affect the future, just do what’s right in the moment

Gilbert and Marie deserved to live happily ever after with all the stuff they’d been through so I’ll take a little bit of plot contrivance for that.

Gilbert’s punishment is actually not as light as it sounds imo. Having to serve the kingdom as long as he lives means that even when Marie dies he’ll have to stick around. That’s probably when he’d be ready to end his life. Lowkey kind of fucked up, but I guess it is way better than executing him or imprisoning him like Pride could have.

Plus he got to kiss Pride’s leg and feet so he won in the end fr.

That aged up Stale was cool. I actually thought he had jumped into the future since he can teleport wherever. Gilbert being able to age people up is kinda wild.

And a good old fashioned pillow fight to let out stale and Arthur’s frustrations. That’s one way to feel better lol.

Lastame Thursdays, my fave day of the week. Another great episode

We got to see a little sneak peak of how Pride would handle criminal judgments as queen. As expected, she’s done her research and is very fair in her judgement. I know some people think the fealty contract is cruel and morally grey, but the dude tried to kill her country’s soldiers. She can’t come off soft.

Even when dealing with criminals, she’s compassionate and thinking what’s best for her kingdom and ways to prevent the bad end of the game. Pride from the game would’ve easily just sentenced him to death. So giving him some wiggle room and allowing him to potentially protect tiara is a good outcome for him imo.

Even though pride is good now and knows the evil things she did in the other timeline, she still has that cruel nature buried deep in her. So it’s important to have safeguards in place. We saw an example of this when Tiara debuted at the ball and Pride mentioned how she had an inclination to be jealous and hate her.

Best part of the episode though was definitely the last 10 minutes or so. Pride picking out flowers for the boys and then explaining their meaning was so cute. Arthur being so flustered is really adorable. I don’t know how pride is going to manage two boyfriends lmao. But, that pep talk from Pride will definitely get Arthur through the knight exams.

Would’ve liked more Pride in the episode ngl but still a very good one.

I do appreciate that they’re fleshing out the cast which is never a bad thing. It’s just she’s such a great character I can never get enough of her lol. That little bashful moment she had when thinking back on being carried a couple weeks ago was so cute.

Arthur and Stale’s relationship was really the crux of the episode and it’s cool to see them both finally get a male friend in their same age group. Their love for Pride and desire to get stronger and protect her really connects them. Can’t wait to see how they both continue to develop as the series goes on. Don’t think she’ll go anywhere near the evil side if she’s got support like that around her.

Also really love Arthur and his dad’s relationship. Even when he stopped wanting to be a knight for a while, his dad never disowned him or treated him coldly about it. He just always hoped his son would come back on the right path which he did. A very doting and loving dad is always nice to see.

Got the LN last week, hopefully I’ll finish enough of my backlog to be able to start reading it within the next couple weeks. I really love this series so much already.
